I loved this game, I did quit for like half a day because I got scared but I couldn't stop thinking about it and just HAD to finish the chapter. The graphics are a unique style that I adore and so far the story has me sucked in.

I was looking forward to this game after playing My friend is a Raven. I like the artstyle and concept very much. I've always felt uncomfortable living in this positive-justice society in my entire life, so I could make a lot of my own connections with this game. I tried my best to translate this game for my Japanese viewers for my upload. Thanks for letting us play the first chapter for free. I'm looking forward to the full release. Thanks again

This game is awesome it’s the first time I’ve played a game in this style and I loved it can’t wait for the full game please check out my play through below :)
My first impression of this game is: Paranoia. I often have to remind myself to smile so as to keep my mood up; I don't find it patronizing, and I wish that more people told me to smile more often. I think of a quote by Thich Nhat Hanh about the external importance of any one person's smile. Be that as it may, a smile which is forced does tend to come off as a grimace, and this can be effectively grim. This reminds me of the animated film Inside Out, wherein Sadness is redeemed as a constructive, if inconvenient, emotion. Some other themes I noticed were individualism and "self-reliance" set against the backdrop of conformism and interdependence. I'm not sure why the game would need to lean one way or the other; I should have to play it to find out. Overall: this looks like an ambitious aesthetic experiment and a reflection upon mental illness. I have no comment, except that I still think some people should smile more, however overwhelming, multifarious and convoluted their reasons may be to frown.
I remember My Friend Is a Raven. I like this style and I also like that you upgraded gameplay. I believe that this could become big game. Keep up the good job :)

Pretty interesting, and very effective horror atmosphere... I loved the detail of the adult's eyes being stitched. I'll be looking foward to when it comes out on steam :)
Just a little note, not sure if it was a bug or intentional, but I died due to my light going out for too long, I had the life item selected but hadn't equipped it yet. When I got back my inventory was full with copies of the item.
Thanks for mentioning that. It is a bug, and it's been fixed for the full version of the game :) If I have the time I'll make the necessary changes to get it working in the demo as well. Thanks for playing!
I'm still trying to wrap my head on what is the theme of this game. So far, it looks like I'm one of those insane kids, managed by even crazier adults, and we are all in jail from hell. The mystery deepens when my friend got taken away at the end... The demo looks great! I'll make sure to support the game when it comes out!
